Speaking Your Customers' Language |
Some people are easy to get on side. Others seem to be sceptical and tend to resist our ideas. Would you like to find out how to present ideas to people in a way they find appealing and easy to understand?
Why is it important to learn to speak their language? Influencing and motivating people are vital skills in today’s business environment. The good news is that we give away what motivates us and how we think, in the language we use. By discovering how to literally speak someone else’s language, even sceptics will find your message compelling and relevant to their needs.

Who Should Take This Course? |
This course will help anyone who has to influence others or present ideas at work.
Do you want to have your audience eating out of the palm of your hand, avoiding that feeling of fighting a losing battle?
Do you want to move away from not seeing eye to eye with others, instead being able to build deep rapport with them, getting on their wavelength?
Do you want to find easier ways to achieve your objectives; increasing customer loyalty by building strong, lasting relationships?
|
How Does It Work? |
This course is based on the motivation patterns we run in our brains. These are a fundamental aspect of communication and interpersonal relationships. For example:
- Being able to put yourself in the other person’s shoes, so you can start to understand their map of reality; you can then uncover and predict their needs.
- We all think in either pictures, words or kinaesthetic sensations. This impacts how we like to receive and process information. Being able to communicate with someone in the way they prefer to think is a powerful influencing tool. This builds deep rapport.
- Discover the motivation patterns that people run in their minds (meta-programmes) – and how to structure your proposals and language to influence ethically.
- Know what you want. We often enter into a presentation or important conversation, without having a clear idea of what we want to achieve. It’s important to be specific about our desired outcome and ensure that it is in the best interests of all involved.
|
| This course is based on the principles: |
- You can’t change others, but you can change yourself – and break out of unproductive cycles.
- The language we use impacts our thoughts, feelings and behaviours – so language is one of the most effective ways to influence a situation.
- We like people like us: language is a way of forming deep rapport with others and building lasting relationships.
