My background
I started my working life as a mechanical engineer, graduating with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering And German, from the University of Sheffield. This has given me a common-sense approach to the work we do at Pink Grapefruit.
I spent 10 years in engineering, before moving into market research, where I became the link between the engineers, the customers and the marketing teams.
Over the years, I trained in the fields of communication skills and NLP. Initially, I used these as part of my "day job", but soon realised I wanted to be able to work with more people.
So I set up Pink Grapefruit.
And four years later, we're going from strength to strength.
I'm an international consultant in the fields of recruitment, people management and communication. I'm a certified trainer, master practitioner and training assessor of NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and an experienced senior management coach.
Over the last few years, I have been a guest lecturer at the University of Bath Management School and have had articles published in national publications, worldwide.
